DSJ Global is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President of Operations to oversee operations within the Food and Beverage Manufacturing sector. This role will be located in the Greater Jacksonville area with travel.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with executives to develop long-term strategies and policies.
Manage capital projects and budgets, ensuring profitability.
Prioritize health and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Enhance operational efficiency through process optimization and lean manufacturing.
Manage direct reports, providing guidance and resources for goal achievement.
Oversee third-party transportation providers to support business operations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in operations or management.
10+ years of leadership experience in food manufacturing operations.
Beverage manufacturing experience Required
Multi-plant leadership experience experience is required
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and industry reporting systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive change.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to travel as needed.
