We seeking a talented and dynamic UX Researcher/Graphic Designer to join our team. This dual-role position requires a creative and analytical mind capable of understanding user needs, creating compelling visual designs, and ensuring a seamless user experience across our digital platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in user experience (UX) research, graphic design, and a keen eye for detail, contributing to the development of user-centered communication strategies and materials.
Responsibilities
Oversee user experience research techniques, employing both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
Conduct data analytics and data synthesis to address web goals.
Create user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to visualize and communicate research insights.
Develop actionable insights and recommendations to improve user experiences.
Communicate user data to inform the website's content structure, navigation menus, and sitemap for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with web developers and content creators to ensure a cohesive user experience across all digital platforms.
Develop concepts, graphics, and layouts to meet our needs, including banners, infographics, signature images, pop-up banners, and print designs.
Ensure all designs adhere to accessibility standards and best practices.
Maintain and enhance our visual identity across all communication channels.
Curate images for the photography library and develop iconography.
Design PowerPoint and MS Word templates to ensure brand consistency.
Create, improve, and polish PowerPoint presentations, ensuring brand compliance and messaging consistency.
Develop visually compelling and effective presentation materials for various stakeholders.
Oversee broader context web projects, ensuring alignment with our goals and objectives.
Provide strategic input and ensure projects meet user experience and design standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
3+ years of professional experience in UX research and graphic design.
Proven track record of conducting user research and applying findings to create user-centered designs.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of graphic design and UX projects.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, Figma, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of UX principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Knowledge of web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and experience designing accessible content.
Nice To Haves
Experience working in health communication or a related field. Familiarity with front-end development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus. Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
