LEVEL II IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN - Microsoft
POSITION OVERVIEW:
This is an intermediate-level position with opportunity for advancement as our company grows. The primary focus of this position will be support for troubleshooting user, Office 365, network, workstation, OS, and application issues for our clients. This is an onsite role using company provided computer equipment and VoIP phone.
Primary Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Provide remote and on-site IT support and troubleshooting for our customers to resolve problems to the end user's satisfaction. Candidates will be required to use a personal vehicle for travel but will be reimbursed mileage
- Configure, install, test, and support customer workstations, and other peripheral equipment, and software
- Ensure that all supported environments are fully documented, including procedures for client equipment configuration and management
- Participate in the implementation of new projects and technologies
- Process incoming telephone and email support requests from customers
- Track all support activities and time accurately with our support ticketing system
- Techs are responsible for fostering and maintaining a high degree of satisfaction with our clients
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for workstation and network problems is required
- Excellent customer service skills and well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Basic Office 365 Administration & Troubleshooting (Users & Group Management, Exchange Message Trace, SharePoint & OneDrive file syncing)
- Strong understanding and experience with supporting O365 apps (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Experience supporting Local Area Networks with basic knowledge of routing, switches, DHCP, and DNS services
- Strong desktop PC support and diagnostic skills (Windows 10/11)
- Attention to detail, and ability to follow standards and procedures
- Ability to organize and carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision
Qualifications:
(Preferred)
- Five or more years working in a technical support role
- Experience with management and administration of Active Directory / EntraID
- College Degree or relating Industry Training and Certifications
- Working knowledge of servers, switches, routers, firewalls is a plus
- Experience with Advanced DNS and Public DNS is a plus
- Experience working with MSP (RMM, IT Glue, etc.) tools is a plus
- Experience with Mac/Linux is a plus
- Microsoft Certification in any current MS Technology is a plus

- Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and ability to functionally support MSFT Office apps
- Candidates must live within a reasonable commute of St. Charles, MO
- Drivers license and Liability insurance
- Since this is an onsite work role, candidate must be onsite M-F / 8-5pm Central time
