Systems Engineer - Addison - (VMware and legacy MS systems)
Optomi in partnership with a national healthcare leader is seeking a skilled individual to join our dynamic team in a Technical role focusing on server security, OS patch management, and core components of Windows server infrastructure. Responsibilities include resolving hardware failures and server outages, managing Anti-virus software, and producing comprehensive documentation.
Key Skills Required:
8-10 years of progressive technical experience.
Expertise in Microsoft Exchange 2019 and Active Directory, with a strong background in Microsoft technologies.
Proficiency in Data Center operations, including UPS and power management, data protection, and backup.
Experience with HP, Cisco, and Dell server hardware builds, SAN/NAS management, and Dell VxRail clusters.
Enterprise-level proficiency in VMware ESXi vSphere and vCenter server, including DRS/HA, vMotion, and Storage DRS.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and a strong understanding of PowerShell for task automation.
Preferred Skills:
On-Prem legacy Exchange server migration experience.
Monitoring experience, ideally Solarwinds.
Prior experience integrating companies and user accounts via corporate acquisitions.
