Work in Supplier Quality Assurance capacity within an integrated program Subcontract Management Team and Quality Team environment.
Take an active role in supplier development activities, as needed, to ensure long term program success.
Collaborate with LM Program Quality, Engineering, and Sourcing functions to ensure LM requirements and quality standards are in place at suppliers in support of LM procurements.
Prepare and maintain Supplier Quality Assurance flowdowns, in-process inspection and final inspection plans to assure supplier product compliance to LM and customer requirements.
Travel to program dedicated suppliers is required. Travel frequency will vary based on program requirements and supplier performance and is expected to be approx. 25% per month on average. Travel is domestic.
Perform regular supplier manufacturing process surveillance & product source inspections.
Evaluate supplier Root Cause Analysis of nonconforming product and evaluate Corrective & Preventative Action plans for effectiveness. Facilitate Root Cause Analysis with suppliers, as required.
Perform counterfeit risk assessments for LM suppliers.
Facilitate creation of Counterfeit Risk Management Plans and lead team evaluations of electrical component procurements from Independent Distribution to assure DFAR compliance.
