Job Summary
We're looking for a dynamic Supplier Quality & Development Director to lead our efforts in enhancing supplier performance and development. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape our supplier relationships and drive improvements in quality, delivery, and cost efficiency across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
Drive initiatives to enhance supplier performance across our business lines.
Collaborate closely with procurement teams to implement best practices in supplier quality and development.
Lead and mentor a talented team focused on supplier quality and development.
Oversee strategic relationships with key suppliers, ensuring alignment with quality standards and operational objectives.
Participate in industry groups to shape quality standards and expectations for supplier development.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
10+ years of experience in engineering, operations, procurement, or supplier quality.
Proven leadership experience, ideally within aerospace or related industries.
Deep understanding of quality standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO9000) and regulatory requirements.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in continuous improvement methodologies.
Familiarity with APQP, NPI processes, and aerospace products.
Ability to thrive in an international work environment.
