Supplier Development Engineer

Intertec Engineering is building a team of Supplier Development Engineers for a long-term contract with one of our Premier Aerospace customers. These SDE’s will work directly with our customers suppliers to evaluate rate readiness assessments. Professionals will be responsible for identifying potential continuity of supply issues, and establish recovery and control plans for resolution.

These will be hourly contract roles that will be 100% remote, but interested professionals will be expected to travel 1 – 2 weeks a month to start, and then travel will taper off.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Critical supplier visits to resolve supply chain issues
• Responsible for ownership to lead and support materials ready for site(s)
• Responsible for Recovery / Control plans
• Review of drawings with Project Engineering team.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Strong Aerospace Supply Chain experience.
• Aerospace Manufacturing experience.
• Experience assisting supplier development with our customers standards including LOB, and FAIR experience.
• Aerospace Project Management experience preferred.
• Experience with Mechanical products supporting casting, forgings, machined parts, composites, and Electro-Mechanical parts.
• SAP experience in Supply Chain environment preferred.
