Responsibilities

Analyze the current quality assurance practices at FDOT, and recommend future state practices and tools.

Establish quality assurance metrics.

Manage the definition, implementation, and integration of quality principles and quality processes into the design and development of software IT processes.

Perform knowledge transfer to Quality assurance staff.

Ensure that quality measures and procedures are executed.

Ensure that products, applications, and systems are following FDOT’s established quality standards and meet customer requirements.

Champion the application of quality principles in business and IT processes through training, meeting and team facilitation, communication programs and team building activities.

Research, develop, and implement testing methods and procedures to ensure that products meet the highest quality standards while integrating with the new Florida PALM solution.

Monitor, track, and report on defects.
