This role provides you with an opportunity to engage with many different Technology teams across YETI as we implement and operate best-in-class quality assurance and testing practices.

Responsibilities

This role will impact the delivery quality of multiple large Information Technology initiatives. The Senior IT Quality Assurance Manager must be able to work cross-functionally communicate up and down within the Information Technology and Finance organizations, manage testing schedules, create test plans, cultivate precise test scripts, and coordinate execution of SIT and UAT efforts.

We’re looking for our new Team Member to show us at least six or more years of having worked within an established QA/Testing team. The successful candidate will interface with our Information Technology teams and participate in continuous improvement of our methodologies. This position resides within the IT Program Management Office (PMO.)

Qualifications And Attributes

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience.
• At least 6+ years within a QA/Test team with scope of multiple, technically-complex projects.
• Experience with contemporary Test Automation software such as UFT One, Katalon, or Tosca.
• Experience with Scrum, Kanban, and Lean/Six Sigma.
• Experience working with global, hybrid teams and project resources.
• Thorough knowledge of contemporary Software Development Life Cycle practices.
• Demonstrable competency with Atlassian tools and/or MS DevOps.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Skilled in communications with executive leadership.
• Initial role is as an Individual Contributor until team is further expanded and requires supervisory experience.
• Must be willing to work onsite at our HQ office in Austin, TX 3 days a week. Our office is located off Southwest Parkway. This requires relocation if you are not located in Austin, TX.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• A current and valid ISTQB Foundational Level certification is highly preferred.
• A current and valid ISTQB Advanced or Expert certification is preferred.
• Demonstrable thought-leadership to greenfield a Quality Assurance team.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP S4/HANA, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, etc.
