Job Summary 

The Sr. Records Analyst role is integral to the Bluetail customer onboarding process. This position is responsible for reviewing, organizing and uploading recently scanned aircraft records into the Bluetail SaaS platform.  They understand the importance of proper identification,  security of the files and expedient completion of tasks. The Sr. Records Analyst will work directly for the Operations Manager to prioritize, schedule and accomplish the file review and uploading procedures to ensure a successful, exemplary and timely customer experience.  

Responsibilities  

  • Become proficient with the company mission, value proposition and Bluetail platform.
  • Review and perform quality analysis on scanned aircraft maintenance records provided from various scanning sources.  This will also include the organization of files that have already been digitized.
  • Responsible for identifying, naming and properly organizing aircraft maintenance records, organizing, optimizing and uploading these files into the Bluetail application in a timely manner using the Bluetail proprietary software tool.  
  • Create a list of all files detailing pertinent data including page count and file size.
  • Research and troubleshoot any technical issues encountered. 
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by Bluetail management. 

Qualifications 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function efficiently and unsupervised. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or  abilities required.  


Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree or five (5) years’ experience directly related to aircraft maintenance, quality assurance/control, maintenance planning or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Must possess a strong working knowledge of business and general aviation maintenance records (logbooks, work orders, regulatory forms, etc.).  
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft, Google, Adobe and other related applications such as Hubspot and Monday. 
  • Ability to learn new software technologies in a timely manner. 
  • Must possess excellent English communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Able to work in often-stressful situations (“start-up” environment) with changing priorities. 
  • Experience working collaboratively with others to achieve organizational goals. 
  • Must possess analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Maintains confidentiality of all company data, processes and procedures. 

Preferences 

• Aircraft certifications (FAA A&P, Pilot License(s), etc.) 

• Prior customer service background in a business or commercial aviation environment.
