Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in microservices architecture, Apache Kafka, and MongoDB. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and efficient solutions that meet business requirements and align with our technology strategy. You will collaborate closely with development teams, stakeholders, and other architects to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Primary Skills
Microservices architecture, Apache Kafka, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), DevOps, CI/CD.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement scalable microservices architectures.
Architect and manage high-throughput messaging systems using Apache Kafka.
Design and optimize NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB, for high performance and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Conduct architectural reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to microservices, Kafka, and MongoDB.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the organization.
Create and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams, technical specifications, and design patterns.
Mentor and train junior architects and developers on best practices and new technologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a focus on microservices, Kafka, and MongoDB.
Strong proficiency in designing and implementing microservices architectures using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Spring Boot.
Extensive experience with Apache Kafka, including setup, configuration, tuning, and monitoring.
Deep understanding of MongoDB architecture, including data modeling, indexing, sharding, and replication.
Solid programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in Apache Kafka or MongoDB.
Experience with other NoSQL databases like Cassandra or Redis.
Familiarity with event-driven architecture and real-time data processing.
Knowledge of security best practices and experience with securing microservices and data.
