Solidworks Designer
The designers are responsible for modeling the equipment transported into these cases and making custom interiors to support them. This job requires excellent attention to detail and researching newer items for which we may have yet to manufacture a case. Each product is fully customized and built to order for a specific client.

Other Daily Functions
- Modeling of items that get stored in the case.
- Assessment of client expectations along with realistic solutions to client needs
- Quoting cases by laying out material costs of plywood, foam, carpet, etc.
- Development of detailed documentation for the manufacturing of road cases (detailed views of steps with notes in the form of drawings)
- Creation of material cut lists in 2D, DWG, or DXF data.
- Update and upkeep a library of the company's road case inventory.
- Active collaboration with management to translate client needs and expectations.
- Active collaboration with the manufacturing team to continuously improve the processes.
- Able to create mechanical designs, layouts, and review technical concepts
- Reverse Engineering
- Design of Hydraulic equipment is helpful
- Construction equipment experience would be a bonus
- Supplier/Vendor management skills
- Outgoing personality and not afraid to ask questions
- Proficient computer skills
- 5 Years of extensive SolidWorks Experience
- Ability to do your research
- Recognize patterns and standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Manufacturing knowledge would be desirable but not necessary
Salary: $75,000 - 90,000/annually
