The Parts Advisor is responsible for keeping track of inventory, receiving, and selling parts.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
Handles inbound parts inquiries for customers.
Research and places parts orders from JCB and various vendors
Direct ships parts to customers where appropriate
Handles all customer inquiries in an efficient and responsive manner.
Maintains parts inventory.
Researches and advises technicians of parts and orders.
Initiates sales calls to existing customers to replenish inventory.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies
High School diploma or equivalent experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to perform multiple tasks while maintaining a sense of urgency.
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent problem-solving skills – ability to think outside the box
Strong interpersonal and team working skills
Excellent oral and written communication with an emphasis on phone skills
Ability to take direction well and work with minimal supervision
