We are searching for an Active Directory Architect to join our team remotely, based out of Fort Mill, South Carolina. This role is part of a greenlit, ongoing project where the architect will lead implementation efforts, assess the current environment, and develop roadmaps for future steps. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the implementation project for Active Directory.
Assess the current IT environment and develop detailed roadmaps for future steps.
Collaborate effectively with a team of contractors, focusing on creating a modern workplace.
Utilize SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and PowerShell/Scripting to achieve project goals.
Leverage Linux Technologies, Microsoft, and Backup Technologies to support project implementation.
Use skills in Configuration Management and PowerShell Scripting to optimize project outcomes.
Develop and present implementation roadmaps to clients, offering strategic suggestions based on business acumen.
Requirements
Proven professional experience as an Active Directory Architect for at least three years
Proficiency in Linux Technologies
Familiarity with Microsoft and its related technologies
Knowledge of Backup Technologies is essential
Experience with Configuration Management
Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive
Demonstrated knowledge of PowerShell and PowerShell Scripting
Experience in creating and implementing roadmaps
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
