SharePoint Consultant

Founded in 1999 in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee, Cadre5 provides innovative technical solutions to our customers locally and nationally. Our Cadre5 Lab Partners division has partnered with the Information Technology Services Directorate (ITSD) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) to recruit a SharePoint Consultant to assist with their SharePoint Modernization project.

ORNL delivers scientific discoveries and technical breakthroughs needed to realize solutions in energy and national security and provides economic benefit to the nation. This premier research institution located near Knoxville in Oak Ridge, TN, addresses national needs through impactful research and world-leading research centers.

This is a full-time, 9-month contract position that can telecommute. Occasional travel to the Oak Ridge facility may be required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Independently execute tasks, prioritize time efficiently, and maintain a goal-oriented and deadline-driven approach.
• Attend daily meetings with the SharePoint development team to ensure tasks adhere to established standards and security protocols.
• Configure SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and workflows.
• Demonstrates a strong customer focus and excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Desire to continuously improve technical skills and identify opportunities where development tools meeting ORNL Standards may be used in place of non-standard tools

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience working with SharePoint Online out of the box modern experience.
• SharePoint Online experience to include setting permissions, creating pages, working with modern communications and modern team sites as well as modern web parts.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance is required. This requires US Citizenship.
