Scale Up Search are exclusively partnered with a leading fragrance brand that is seeking an experienced and strategic SVP Operations/Supply Chain. This role will be responsible for overseeing the company's entire supply chain and operations functions, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the operations and supply chain strategy in alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of operations and supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of raw materials and finished products.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners, negotiating contracts and agreements to secure the best terms and conditions.
- Develop and manage the operations and supply chain budget, ensuring alignment with financial goals and objectives.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes that may impact the business.
- Collaborate with other senior leaders and departments (e.g., Marketing, Sales, R&D) to support new product development and market expansion initiatives.
The perfect candidate will hold:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in supply chain and operations management, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role within the beauty industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale operations and supply chain functions in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of supply chain and operations best practices, including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficient in the use of supply chain management software and ERP systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
