(Senior) Transportation Engineer - Traffic

Full time, permanent, direct hire. Salary $120k - $165k

Location: Los Angeles Area, California. Remote with travel to CA offices and sites.

SENIOR TRANSPORTATION ENGINEER - CALIFORNIA

• Providing Traffic Engineering and Public Works Engineering support to multiple municipalities.
• Work with cities around the state on a variety of different project types and sizes, from inception/design through construction management and operations.
• Utilizing excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, including elected officials and the public.
• Managing Capital Improvement projects and programs.
• Engaging in Transportation grant processes.
• Overseeing Transportation Design, Traffic Engineering and Planning projects, including traffic data analysis, engineering and safety studies, signing and marking, traffic control plans, corridor studies and transit plans.
• Utilizing knowledge of Federal and State design standards.
• Other municipal engineering duties as assigned.
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as an Engineer within a municipal Public Works department.
• Valid PE (California preferred)
