About the Position:
Under the direction of the Division Chief of Program Project Management, a Supervising Transportation Engineer, the incumbent, equipped with in-depth and varied knowledge related to program and project management policies and project delivery processes and procedures, assists in the continual improvement and knowledge sharing related to project delivery. Develops and provides training related to project management, program management, and project delivery; assists in the development of district directives, policies, and memos related to project management and project delivery, provides guidance and direction to the Project Management Support Unit (PMSU) and data governance units on the development of new tools and resources to support the successful delivery of major projects. Assists in coordinating and documenting all roles and responsibilities related to project management in District 11 (D11) to support successful succession planning. Also assists in providing guidance related to alternative delivery methods.
