Position Overview:
As a Transportation Engineer with my TOP ENR client, you will play a key role in planning, designing, and managing transportation projects that cater to the needs of our growing community. You will collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to create innovative solutions for the region's transportation challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct transportation studies and assessments to identify infrastructure needs.
Design and develop transportation projects, including roads, bridges, and transit systems.
Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project success.
Stay current with industry trends, standards, and regulations.
Engage with local and state authorities for permitting and compliance.
Conduct traffic analysis and modeling.
Manage project timelines and budgets.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Minnesota.
Minimum of 5 years of transportation engineering experience.
Proficiency in industry-standard software and design tools.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Knowledge of local and state transportation regulations and standards.
Project management experience is a plus.
