Director of Non-Profit, Admin Support at Solomon Page
Our client is seeking a Senior Trademark Paralegal to join their team! This will be a Hybrid position in New York, New York: 3 days in office, 2 remote (Tu. Wed. Thurs in office; Mon + Fri remote). The role is Temp with a possibility of perm and you would have the potential to move into a more senior supervisory role down the line.
Hours: 9:30AM-5:30PM – 35 hour workweek and 1 hour for lunch
Dress code: Business Casual (typically lead with policy of dress for your day)
Good environment - Others worked 5-10 years there / little turnover
Salary if / when perm: 80k - 120k
Responsibilities:
Prepare and oversee filing, prosecution, and maintenance of intellectual property domestically and internationally
Prepare and file WIPO applications and maintenance filings
Docket review and report preparation
Correspondence with clients, counsel and outside counsel on prosecution and maintenance requirements
Administrative support for data entry, invoices, deposit account, practice alerts and rule changes
Draft Office Action Responses and client correspondence
Review trademark specimens of use
Conduct trademark in-use investigations
Legal research
Notarization
Coordinate legalization of documents used domestically and internationally
Prepare and file documents in Trademark Trial and Appeal Board Proceedings
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate
Minimum seven years of trademark experience; For temp NO less than 4 years
Prior Law Firm experience
High proficiency in the Microsoft Office 2010 suite of products
Familiarity with Clarivate or Corsearch products
Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on providing quality client service
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
Must be self-motivated and able to meet deadlines under pressure
Must have the ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
