Senior Tax Manager

You will be an important team member, you will be responsible for leading tax planning and compliance initiatives for a diverse clientele, encompassing corporations, partnerships, trusts, and high net-worth individuals. Ensuring strict adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations, your role involves staying abreast of evolving tax laws and implementing strategies to navigate changes effectively.

Your responsibilities will also extend to client management, where you will cultivate and sustain strong client relationships. Offering expert guidance on tax matters, participating in strategic tax planning, and aiding in the resolution of tax controversies will be integral aspects of your client engagement.

In addition, you will play a pivotal role in team leadership and development. Managing and mentoring a group of tax professionals, you will guide their career progression, provide training, and review their work to guarantee accuracy and completeness.

Your role as a technical expert in tax matters will involve in-depth research on complex tax issues, staying current with industry trends, and adapting to changes in tax laws. Active participation in business development initiatives, including identifying new client opportunities and expanding service offerings, is essential. Networking and participation in professional development events will contribute to the growth of the firm.

As a seasoned professional, you will be well-versed in risk management, ensuring that all tax practices align with legal and ethical standards. Upholding quality control in tax-related activities, you will play a critical role in mitigating risks.

Qualifications

  • Residence in Georgia: Demonstrating a local presence in Georgia is crucial, ensuring that the candidate is well-acquainted with the local business landscape, regulations, and community dynamics
  • CPA Certification: Possession of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification signifies a high level of professional expertise and adherence to industry standards. This qualification ensures that the candidate has the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in accounting and financial roles
  • 6-10 Years of Professional Experience: A minimum of 6-10 years of professional experience in relevant roles is essential. This extensive background demonstrates a proven track record, showcasing the candidate's ability to navigate complex financial challenges, make informed decisions, and contribute significantly to the organization's success
