Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement quality control policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of product quality and customer satisfaction

- Conduct regular quality audits, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve processes and products

- Train and lead teams on quality control standards and procedures

- Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and potential product or process issues

- Develop and maintain quality documentation and reports, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

- Assist in the continuous improvement of supplier quality control processes

- Act as the main point of contact for quality-related inquiries and issues from customers, suppliers, and internal teams

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality control methodologies

- Investigate customer complaints and lead the implementation of corrective and preventive actions

- Manage a team of Quality Control Technicians, providing coaching, feedback, and support for their development

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

- 3+ years of experience in a quality control or assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing

- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other quality management standards

- Strong understanding of process improvement principles such as Six Sigma or Lean methodologies

- Proven experience in managing and developing teams

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Attention to detail and ability to analyze data and identify trends

- Demonstrated ability to lead and implement change

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality control software
