We are a fast growing full-service MEP/FP engineering firm based out of Dublin, Ohio, with additional locations in Tampa & Orlando, Florida. We specialize in the design of HVAC, Fire Protection, Plumbing, Electrical and Technology Systems for complex facilities such as Corporate, Data and Telecommunications, Higher Education, Health Care, Laboratories and Manufacturing Plants.
We are searching for a talented and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering team. This person will be responsible for leading our junior level engineers and spearheading the design of efficient HVAC systems for a variety of projects. Candidates must have a Professional Engineer license in Florida, excellent problem solving skills, and experience in HVAC, plumbing and energy modeling.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing projects and mentoring junior engineers. You will also assist in designing HVAC systems & controls, energy modeling, load analysis/calculations, mechanical equipment selection, and developing construction drawings for residential, commercial, institutional, industrial and/or healthcare facilities for a variety of projects. This includes load analysis, equipment selection, and construction documents. You will be using AutoCAD, Revit, Trane Trace and other industry-standard software to develop projects. You will also be required to perform field investigations and interface with clients.
State Building Codes (commercial, residential, healthcare, industrial facilities)
Project Management
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field is required.
Professional Engineering (P.E.) License in the state of Florida is required.
