Intro And Job Overview

As a Sr. Corporate Events Manager reporting to the VP of Corporate Marketing, you will drive the development and execution for corporate events at Precisely including our annual Global Kick Off, Precisely owned events like Trust ’24, as well as leadership offsites, sales summits and incentive trips, and more. Your expertise will ensure that these events run seamlessly on time, on budget and on brand, leaving a lasting, positive impact for all involved.

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Event Strategy and Planning
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive event strategy aligned with Precisely’s goals and culture.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand event objectives, audience, and desired outcomes.
    • Plan and execute events from conception to completion, ensuring all logistical details are meticulously managed.
  • Budget Management
    • Create and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
    • Work in partnership with Procurement to negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and service providers to optimize resources. Also secure all necessary InfoSec and Privacy approvals.
  • Venue Selection and Logistics
    • Research, identify, and secure suitable venues for events.
    • Coordinate all logistics, including transportation (in partnership with the executive administrative team), accommodations, catering, audio-visual, and gifting requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Collaborate with ELT, L2s, and other stakeholders to understand their event needs.
    • Ensure events align with the company’s brand and messaging.
  • Risk Management
    • Anticipate and mitigate potential risks related to events.
    • Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
  • Event Execution
    • Oversee event setup, registration, and on-site management. Recruiting in advance assistance from other marketing and administrative team members as necessary.
    • Ensure seamless execution of event programs, including keynote presentations and breakout sessions in coordination with cross-functional teams, and networking opportunities.
  • Post-Event Evaluation
    • Conduct post-event evaluations to measure success against objectives.
    • Gather feedback from attendees and stakeholders to continuously improve future events. Present results to appropriate team leaders.
Qualifications

  • Event Planning Expertise
    • Proven track record in planning and executing successful corporate events.
    • 5-7+ years experience in event management.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills.
    • Familiarity with event management software and tools like Cvent a plus.

    • Ability to lead and inspire a team through influence rather than direct management control, fostering collaboration and excellence.

    • Visionary mindset to align events with company goals and enhance brand reputation.
  • Communication and Relationship Building
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

    • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
    • Quick problem-solving skills.
  • Requirements:
    • Associate or Bachelor Degrees in event management, marketing, business or related field. (Equivalent work experience will be accepted in place of the education requirement)
    • 5-7 years experience in event management
    • Travel is required: Yes
