We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior EMC Test Engineer to join our clients team at a Globally recognised notified body. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing, particularly with CISPR 25 standards and Radio Frequency (RF) projects. The Senior EMC Test Engineer will play a crucial role in conducting tests, analyzing results, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and oversee EMC testing in accordance with CISPR 25 and other relevant standards.
- Lead and execute RF testing projects, ensuring high-quality and accurate results.
- Analyze test data, prepare detailed reports, and provide recommendations for improvements or corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement testing protocols and procedures.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Stay updated with the latest industry standards and advancements in EMC and RF testing technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical support and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in EMC testing, with a strong focus on CISPR 25 standards.
- Proven experience in RF testing and knowledge of RF principles and practices.
- Familiarity with testing equipment and software used in EMC and RF testing.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Professional certifications in EMC or related fields are a plus.
