The Milwaukee Public Museum is recruiting for the position of Sr. Director of Major Gifts to join our development team! This position serves as the key partner to the VP for overseeing capital campaign major gifts strategy and ensuring the gift officer team has the materials and progress reports needed to meet both annual and capital goals. Additionally, this position maintains a portfolio of 75-100 prospects located across the State, working to increase their annual, capital and planned gift commitments to meet portfolio goals.
Other Major Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include
Oversee Campaign Cabinet of campaign volunteers ensuring they have clear assignments and are part of the work of the campaign
Oversee growth of statewide funding outside Milwaukee
Provide support in developing the annual strategic plan objectives and fundraising goals
Attend staff member and donor events

Preferred Qualifications
Experience using Raisers Edge
Necessary Qualifications
Five years experience working in major gifts and events within a non-profit development operation
Proven experience reaching and exceeding revenue generation goals
Experience using comparable development software (in lieu of Raisers Edge experience)
