Job Title. Senior Demand Planner
Reporting to. Sr. Director of Demand and Supply Planning
Location: Los Angeles
Your Mission. To create a by-account SKU forecast for Operations through statistical analysis and in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and Finance. Manage Demand, Core Business, New Product Launch, and Promotional Planning to drive forecast consensus within the organization.
Manage SKU and account level forecast to achieve financial objectives
Facilitate Consensus meetings and pre-meetings with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure forecasting objectives are achieved
Determine risks and opportunities by analyzing account specific trends and new product launch performance.
Prepare Budget and trend information to Finance
Participate in cross functional project teams to develop best in class forecasting practices
Quantify new product launches forecasts using historical sales, planned marketing support, and key account merchandising plans
Ability to animate and articulate the demand for an account on different business scenarios (door plans, multiple exposures, promo plan, launch effects…)
Your Profile.
5+ years of forecasting/planning experience within the Beauty or CPG industry
Microsoft Office / Google Workspace – intermediate / advanced level
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, sumif, CSV files)
Cross functional collaboration experience
Ability to consult, communicate, and influence across a wide range of people
Strong show and tell mechanics when presenting difference scenarios
Experience with Sales and Operations Planning processes/procedures
Budget: $85-100,000/yr base salary plus discretionary bonus opportunity
