We are partnered with a Series B-funded HVAC optimization company whos cutting-edge software delivers guaranteed energy and cost savings from grid services to residential and multifamily buildings. They provide real-time insights and control management of HVAC systems and have eliminated the need for manual adjustments to achieve maximum energy efficiency. They are looking for a lead controls engineer to join and help lead their building automation engineering team in Boston, Massachusets.
Responsibilities:
Conduct On-Site Assessments: Visit client buildings to prepare initial estimates of savings, integration costs, and projected savings for Parity’s services.
Energy Analysis: Use modeling tools to analyze energy usage in potential client buildings, incorporating on-site assessments, historical utility data, mechanical equipment specifications, building drawings, and current control sequences to estimate energy savings potential.
Project Management: Oversee the installation and setup of Parity’s services from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget, and keeping clients updated on progress.
System Integration: Establish communication between Parity’s software platform and field controllers/devices in client buildings, and work with Parity’s programming team to establish and test control sequences to reduce energy waste.
Commissioning: Perform final commissioning and obtain sign-off to ensure that Parity, client, and incentive program requirements are met.
Requirements:
Experience: 5-10 years in one or more of the following areas: (Energy auditing or energy services, MEP Engineering, Controls/Building Automation)
