Vest Labs (https://www.vest.exchange/) is building a cutting-edge digital asset financial exchange backed by Jane Street and powered by zero-knowledge proofs. Our mission is to rebuild every financial product into their trustless counterpart.
Our first product is a highly capital efficient perpetual futures exchange with its solvency secured algorithmically. Ultimately, this exchange will be part of a trustless prime brokerage that enables a composable financial ecosystem cross margined via a bespoke risk engine.

We're looking for high-agency individuals who want to joins us in shaping the next era of finance.
Responsibilities:
Develop and scale a high-throughput, low-latency exchange
Implement supporting services like order management systems, price oracles, liquidation engines, ....etc.
Actively push the boundaries of the decentralized exchange design space (onboarding UX, verifiable execution, ...etc.)
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience. Familiarity with Python and low-level programming languages like Rust or C++
Transparent and proactive communication
Fast and scrappy in prototyping
Experience in distributed systems and messaging (e.g. Kafka)
Can join in person NYC
Bonus if:
Worked in algorithmic trading
Experience in developing decentralized protocols, smart contracts, zero-knowledge circuits
