Senior Analyst

Location: San Francisco

Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 + base & bonus

Piper Maddox is currently partnered with a renewable energy investment banking powerhouse as they expand their finance team. As one of the oldest investors in the space they successfully brokered some of the largest deals and have developed deep relationships with the most recognized names in the industry.

As a Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in structuring large scale transactions from origination to completion across a variety of energy platforms (solar, storage, hydrogen etc.). With a focus across M&A, Project Finance and Capital Raises the work is varied, and highly rewarding.

What you will do:

• Work on a portfolio of complex investment transactions within the renewable energy industry (M&A, capital markets, structured finance).
• Identify new business opportunities by utilizing new and existing relationships within a variety of potential clients (developers, EPC, banks etc.)
• Work as part of a highly technical team of investment professionals, reviewing proposals, financial models and ensuring ongoing development of the teams skillset.

What you will have:

• Track record of leading on complex investment transactions with renewable energy to successful closing.
• 3+ years’ experience in leading on financial modelling across a variety of projects (buy side, sell side, M&A, capital markets).
• Deep transactional expertise within renewable energy with a focus around utility scale projects (100MW+).
