Sap Advanced Business Application Programming Consultant

InterEx is supporting a Fortune 100 food and beverage organization that is undergoing a global SAP transformation. We are looking to partner up with an ABAP Consultant to report directly to the senior manager of SAP.

Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced ABAP Architect to join our dynamic team. As an ABAP Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SAP applications using ABAP programming language. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to deliver robust solutions that meet business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop SAP applications using ABAP programming language.
• Lead technical design sessions and provide architectural guidance to development teams.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Provide technical expertise and support to resolve complex issues.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. (Bonus)
• Proven experience as an ABAP Developer or ABAP Architect, with at least X years of experience in SAP development.
• Strong proficiency in ABAP programming language, including ABAP Objects, BAPIs, BADIs, and user exits.
• Experience with SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI/CO, etc.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior developers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• SAP certification(s) preferred.
