Nymbus is looking for a highly technical Sales Engineer to support the sales of Nymbus' suite of digital and core banking solutions. Sales Engineers are responsible for managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process and will work with the prospect and cross functional teams to create a solution design. Sales Engineers lead demos, help respond to RFP's and work with the internal project teams to communicate the needs of the customer and how to deliver.
An ideal candidate would excel at presenting, love reviewing product release notes, and be a strong problem solver. Important communication skills include the ability to clearly explain and document business logic and requirements, building rapport and trust with prospects, and consultative sale techniques.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Staying current with latest product releases and product roadmap
Product Demonstrations (in-person and remote)
Lead discovery meetings and identify/document product and feature gaps
Work with Nymbus Sales Executives to qualify and identify prospect needs
Create presentations and diagrams to capture client requirements
Trusted consultant for prospects during the due diligence process
Work with the cross functional teams to align prospect requests with roadmap
Staying current with industry trends, vendor relationships, etc.…

QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years Sales Engineering or related experience
Excellent at documenting technical requirements
Astute and Engaging Presenter: Ability to present and develop rapport with prospects
Professional Aggressiveness: Expressed attitude and desire to achieve
Technically Articulate: Ability to communicate technical solutions to a non-technical audience
Previous experience with core banking and a background in the financial services industry.
Knowledge needed:
Experience with financial technology solutions including Core Banking, Digital Banking (Online and Mobile), Onboarding, and Loan Origination.
Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
Experience in defining systems strategy, solution, defining and refining business processes, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, and implementing practical business solutions.
Excellent presenter, able to articulate the vision and respond to both technical and functional questions.
Experience with system configuration using workflows, approval processes, custom objects, validation rules, formulas, APIs.
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
5-7 years' experience of requirements gathering, solution design and estimating development effort for medium to large projects a plus.
