About You

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Sales Director is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and strengthen customer relationships. The position will oversee a team of sales professionals, provide leadership and guidance, and collaborate closely with Chief Commercial Officer, Sales Operations Manager, Contracts Manager, Production Services Manager, and Marketing Director to achieve organizational objectives. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to maximize individual and team performance.
  • Identify market opportunities, emerging trends, and customer needs to develop innovative sales strategies and solutions that differentiate our products and services.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
  • Drive sales pipeline development and management, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely closure of deals.
  • Collaberate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, operations, and other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, market trends, and competitive activities to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Print Manufacturing industry landscape, including market dynamics, competitor positioning, and regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our products and services and enhance brand visibility.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence within the sales organization, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Additional work duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience required.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in Sales roles.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles preferably within the Print Manufacturing industry, with a strong understanding of industry dynamics, trends, and customer needs. Additionally open to a track record of success within the Data Analytics, Logistics, or Paper Sales industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, drive revenue growth, and achieve business objectives.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team with varying skill levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and performance optimization.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-oriented attitude and a passion for driving business success.
  • Abitlity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers, attend industry events, and support sales activities.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and professionalism in all interactions and business dealings.
  • Ability to office in Saint Louis Park, MN and travel 50%+ to visit clients and attend conferences.
