Numerix is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in sales, with a background in capital markets or derivatives being a strong plus. This role involves identifying and qualifying potential leads, developing relationships with prospects, and collaborating closely with the sales and marketing teams to drive revenue growth

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential prospects within the financial services industry.
  • Engage with inbound and outbound leads through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and social media.
  • Qualify leads by understanding their business needs and challenges and assess their potential fit with Numerix’s solutions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to follow up on campaigns and events and convert leads into sales opportunities.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and product demos for the sales team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and activities in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and Numerix’s product offerings.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and qualifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably within the software, financial services, or capital markets sectors.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, derivatives, and financial instruments is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Where You’ll Work

This role will be based out of the New York Office 4 days a week, unless travelling.
