Sales and Buyer Operations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Sales and Buyer Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in analyzing and optimizing our sales and buying processes, ensuring seamless operations from lead generation to closing deals, and delivering products on time and at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pipeline Analysis and Management:
    • Analyze sales pipeline through leads, opportunities, and qualification stages
    • Develop and manage metrics for tracking sales performance
    • Create and manage metrics for quoting, delivering insights on competitiveness, cycle time and profitability profiles
    • Analyze closing process to optimize exceeding sales targets
  • Buyer Operations:
    • Develop system for assessing how buyers locate supply sources and obtain competitive pricing
    • Create measures of whether we are meeting required lead times targets of clients
  • Process Optimization:
    • Analyze each step of the sales and buying processes to identify areas for improvement
    • Provide guidance and predictive metrics to sales and buying teams
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Expertly utilize Excel to analyze data and generate actionable insights
    • Create PowerBI reports for individuals, managers and finance to enhance each functions performance/predictability
    • Develop SQL queries to extract and manipulate data as needed
    • Prepare and present reports to Executive leadership and global management teams
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with Executive leadership to align strategies and goals
    • Communicate effectively with global sales and buying teams to ensure cohesive operations
    • Deliver presentations to stakeholders, showcasing insights and recommendations
Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerBI for data analysis and reporting
  • Strong SQL skills are highly desirable
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work with Executive leadership and global management teams
  • Proven experience in sales operations, buying operations, or related fields
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
