Rotating Equipment Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Plant based)

My client has an immediate need for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer with strong Maintenance experience to join their team. This person will be responsible for managing the maintenance activities, assist with capital improvement projects, etc.

  • Must have expert level hands on experience working with rotating equipment**

NEEDED!

  • BS - Mechanical Engineering + 4 years of experience in a similar environment OR
  • AS - Mechanical Engineering and 7+ years experience
  • Very knowledgeable about rotating equipment (pumps, motors, industrial fans)
  • Well versed with maintaining and improving CMMS systems
  • Ability to organize and lead Kaizen events (implement lean manufacturing practices )
  • Ideal person will comes from a heavy industrial environment (chemical, paper, energy sector)
  • Very strong hands on maintenance experience is required (knowledgeable about hydraulic systems, piping & pumping systems, etc.)
  • Ability to provide hands-on support with equipment breakdowns
  • On call rotation included with this role
