Robotics Engineer

We are seeking a talented and motivated Robotics Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics and automation, with a passion for developing and implementing robotic and automation systems. This role involves designing, programming, and testing robotic systems to enhance our laser technology solutions and improve operational efficiency.

What you'll do:

• Design, develop, and implement robotic systems for laser photonics applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate robotic solutions with laser systems.
• Develop and optimize control algorithms for robotic motion and precision.
• Conduct feasibility studies and proof-of-concept testing for new robotic applications.
• Create detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and test plans.
• Ability to act independently generating innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Ability to read and understand existing product code, wiring diagrams
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to robotic systems.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in robotics and automation technologies.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users and internal teams.
• Participate in project planning, scheduling, and progress reporting.
• Solid knowledge of electronic and electromechanical devices such as analog inputs and outputs, quadrature encoders, relays, solenoids, proximity sensors, etc.
• Continuously improving our processes and procedures to optimize development efficiency

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in designing, developing and implementation of robotic systems
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java
• Experience with robotic control software and simulation tools (e.g., ROS, MATLAB, Simulink)
• Strong understanding of kinematics, dynamics, and control theory

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with laser technology and photonics applications.
• Familiarity with machine learning and computer vision techniques.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to robotic systems.
