As the Residential Mortgage Success Champion Lead, you will play a pivotal role in our mortgage loan manufacturing process, ensuring a seamless journey from application to successful closing. We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive leader who excels in decision-making, problem-solving, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Guide and monitor the progress of mortgage loans from origination to closing, ensuring timely completion.
Identify and resolve process bottlenecks to prevent delays and ensure underwriting conditions are met.
Collaborate closely with mortgage originators, processors, underwriters, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient loan processing.
Serve as a primary resource for guidance and support throughout the loan lifecycle.
Develop and conduct training programs for success champions, mortgage originators, and operations members to foster their success.
Lead the onboarding process for new team members, ensuring a smooth integration into our processes.
Implement best practices and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory standards throughout the loan process.
Generate reports and insights to optimize process efficiencies.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Solid understanding of mortgage loan manufacturing processes and experience with Encompass Software.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and initiative.
Effective team player with the capacity to lead and positively influence performance.
Basic Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field preferred.
Minimum of four (4) years' experience in mortgage processes from application to close, with proficiency in Encompass Software.
Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience preferred.
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
