Komline-FluidQuip is growing, and we are seeking a Repair Technician to join our team! This role will be involved in performing a variety of tasks, including the daily unloading and loading of heavy equipment, disassembling machines for repair, and assembling machines to meet precise specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily handling of heavy equipment, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading processes.
Disassembles machines for repair, diagnoses issues, and cleans parts preparing for reassembly.
Assembles machines according to print requirements, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications to meet operational standards.
Measures parts accurately and records values on inspection reports to ensure quality and compliance.
Engages in various hands-on tasks as required by the job, maintaining a proactive and diligent approach.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Works effectively in a team environment, assisting coworkers with larger projects and ensuring collaborative success.
Qualifications:
High school diploma and 1-3 years of hands-on mechanical experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in learning new technologies.
Previous experience using wrenches, prybars, high-pressure cleaning equipment, power tools, overhead cranes and fork trucks.
Basic skills to read and decipher mechanical prints.
Ability to work in an industrial setting and perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting with or without assistance.
Basic skills in measuring and recording data accurately.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Safety-oriented mindset with a commitment to following safety procedures.
Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
