Repair Technician

Job Description

Komline-FluidQuip is growing, and we are seeking a Repair Technician to join our team! This role will be involved in performing a variety of tasks, including the daily unloading and loading of heavy equipment, disassembling machines for repair, and assembling machines to meet precise specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily handling of heavy equipment, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading processes.
• Disassembles machines for repair, diagnoses issues, and cleans parts preparing for reassembly.
• Assembles machines according to print requirements, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications to meet operational standards.
• Measures parts accurately and records values on inspection reports to ensure quality and compliance.
• Engages in various hands-on tasks as required by the job, maintaining a proactive and diligent approach.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
• Works effectively in a team environment, assisting coworkers with larger projects and ensuring collaborative success.
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma and 1-3 years of hands-on mechanical experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in learning new technologies.
• Previous experience using wrenches, prybars, high-pressure cleaning equipment, power tools, overhead cranes and fork trucks.
• Basic skills to read and decipher mechanical prints.
• Ability to work in an industrial setting and perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting with or without assistance.
• Basic skills in measuring and recording data accurately.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Safety-oriented mindset with a commitment to following safety procedures.
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
