About the Role:
We are looking for a Repair Technician to join our Aftermarket team who will support Eriez customers by promptly repairing and refurbishing their equipment with the highest of quality standards to maintain and grow long-term partnerships and increase the Eriez business. All work completed should mirror the mission and core values of the company; ensure we are providing prompt, superb repair to new and existing customer.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate, write-up, and repair or refurbish Eriez and Competitor equipment
This equipment includes Eddy Current Separators, Wet Drums, Scrap Drums, Suspended Electromagnets, Large Feeders, and other industrial equipment
Assist or lead in the assembly and disassembly of customers equipment in the repair center with other repair technicians
Assist production in troubleshooting and assembling customer orders
Work closely with sales, engineering, research, and manufacturing to improve products
All other duties as assigned by Aftermarket Director
Requirements
Associate degree, trade skill degree or equivalent work-related experience preferred
Minimum of two years of experience in assembly of or repairing industrial equipment
Mechanical, electrical, and technical ability to handle details of repairs
Demonstrated leadership ability. Able to work with little supervision and make on the job decisions
Knowledge of Eriez manufacturing processes and standards
Ability to read and understand equipment AutoCAD drawings, including mechanical and electrical details
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Products (MS Teams, Excel, OneNote, Word, etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work well with coworkers and customers
Possible travel to customer sites for support or repairs (less than 5% of duties)
Heavy focus on safety in the workplace. Basic understanding of applicable electrical codes and regulations, mechanical standards, OSHA, industry and Eriez safety practices or ability and willingness to learn
