Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 / year based on experience

We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiting & Human Resources Specialist to join our corporate HR and Recruiting team. This role reports to the Director of Recruiting & Human Resources and offers stability, competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for career growth within our large-scale organization.

This position offers the flexibility to work remotely 75% of the time with the rest spent at the corporate office or restaurants.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A RECRUITING & HR SPECIALIST

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Recruiting Specialist, Coordinator, or in a similar role; hospitality industry experience preferred.
  • Technical proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software, with familiarity in social media recruiting and resume databases.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate clear updates and ideas.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect effectively with candidates and colleagues.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Remote work capability with self-motivation and discipline to work independently and maintain focus.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AS A RECRUITING & HR SPECIALIST

  • Source potential candidates using diverse channels such as job boards, social media, professional networks, and events.
  • Post job advertisements on multiple platforms including job boards, social media, and our company website.
  • Review resumes and apply independent judgment to assess candidate suitability for various roles.
  • Maintain and update our applicant tracking system to ensure accurate and current information.
  • Assist with implementing recruiting programs that support the company’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion vision.
  • Pitch and promote Clyde's exceptional career opportunities effectively to attract top talent.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive experience.
  • Prepare and manage recruitment-related documents such as job descriptions, advertisements, offer letters, and correspondence.
  • Track employee referrals and coordinate the reward process for successful hires.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute career fairs, networking events, and other recruiting activities.
  • Assist in promoting our employer brand through various channels.
  • Conduct background checks.
  • Initiate onboarding and follow up with managers to ensure compliance with the entire onboarding process including I9s.
  • Educate hiring managers on recruitment processes.
  • Exercise professional discretion in handling sensitive recruitment matters and making hiring recommendations.
  • Identify and propose improvements to streamline the recruitment process.
  • Receive, process, and respond to employee garnishments, child support orders, liens & W2 requests.
