Join a prestigious law firm with over 50 years of history in representing prominent institutions and businesses. We are currently seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to support a dynamic real estate practice.


Job Duties:

  • Review surveys, title commitments, and exception documents.
  • Draft title objection letters/responses; track title and survey issues.
  • Prepare documents for real estate, loan, and construction matters, including purchase agreements, leases, loan documents, and construction contracts.
  • Prepare ancillary real estate transaction documents like escrow instructions, deeds, and closing certificates.
  • Assist in real estate, lending, construction, and leasing transactions.
  • Draft corporate, LLC, and partnership resolutions and formation documents; file formation documents with Maryland SDAT and other jurisdictions.
  • Maintain entity files and assist with compliance issues.
  • Analyze entity structure for compliance with the Corporate Transparency Act.
  • Summarize documents for attorney review.
  • Support attorneys in resolving day-to-day issues and commercial transactions.
  • Perform legal due diligence, including UCC, judgment, and lien searches.
  • Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain spreadsheets to track transactions and agreements.
  • Assist with closing process management, including document compilation and communication with parties involved.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a transactional paralegal.
  • Real estate experience, including title and survey review, is preferred.
