Quality Support Specialist

Summary/Objective: Quality Support Specialist plays an essential role in our business communicating our first article inspection results to our customers. This position also interacts with our internal customers to provide guidance on external customers’ requirements. This individual is a proven performer with high attention to detail and possesses strong organizational skills while taking direction from several different functions.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for creating, revieiwing and compiling the first article inspection data into the customer approved format
• Responsible for performing self-release and product/process review functions according to customer requirements
• Maintain customer engineering drawings and specifications, industry standards, and internal documentation related to our Quality Management System
• Create rework jobs in the ERP system and update the system with the corrected data
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must possess basic computer skills, including knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office programs
• Reading, writing, problem-solving, and mechanical skills with hand/eye coordination
• The ability to teach and train others as needed
• Individual must be able to work with little to no supervision after the initial training period, showing a high degree of initiative, self-motivation, and excellent work ethic
