They are seeking a skilled Quality Supervisor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safety, compliance, systems control, data acquisition, and continuous improvement within the plant. This role involves maintaining ISO certifications and working towards additional accreditations. The Quality Supervisor will promote lean manufacturing, six sigma performance, and best business practices.

Focus:

• Ensure a clean and safe workplace following 5S standards.
• Apply the science of measurement to maintain quality standards.
• Verify that all packaged items meet quality specifications and standards.
• Enhance the collection and utilization of statistical process data within the Access Database.
• Investigate non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Improve the traceability process from raw materials to finished products.
• Collaborate on the development and maintenance of policies and procedures for the Business Management System.
• Oversee the inspection and approval process for finished parts ready for shipment.
• Strive to meet and exceed plant quality objectives.
• Ensure the calibration of inspection tools.
• Provide technical support to customers as required.
• Foster a motivated and skilled workforce through a documented training schedule and recognition of achievements.
• Prepare daily reports on quality, statistical process controls, and other key performance metrics.
• Conduct employee performance evaluations

Skill Set:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• Minimum of four years in quality and supervisory roles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Access Database.
• Experience with metrology and measurement tools.
• Strong knowledge of statistical process controls and mathematical concepts.
• Effective leadership skills with the ability to drive change and improve plant conditions and performance.
• Critical thinker with the ability to identify multiple solutions to challenges.
• Resourceful and creative, continuously seeking to improve systems and operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to interact with diverse individuals.
• Enjoys working in a team, sharing information, and mentoring others.
• Demonstrates professionalism and leads by example in all areas.
