Quality Manager

TRG Manufacturing Search Division is leading the Quality Manager search for a leading producer of specialty materials used by some of the world’s largest manufacturers and critical industries, including automotive, aerospace, defense, and composites. The ideal candidate for this role will bring high energy and deep knowledge of quality management systems. You will manage quality assurance and quality teams for the site, ensuring that Quality Control systems meet both customer and company requirements. Key responsibilities include overseeing customer claims and corrective action responses, leading and assisting in quality problem investigations and resolutions, and managing customer claims, returns, and credit approvals.

Your role will involve developing SPC and control data tools, providing KPI measurables for monthly S&OP meetings, and overseeing all QA systems, including PCRs, Calibration, and CARs. Effective communication of quality performance to manufacturing areas is crucial to aid in corrective action and continuous improvement.

Background:

• Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical discipline
• 3+ years’ experience in in highly regulated industry (aerospace, automotive, defense, etc.)
• Strong quality systems background (AS9100 Lead Auditor or ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor a plus)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and coordinate projects and personnel.
• Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma
