Job Description

Conroe, TX - Hourly Range $28-$30

Job Brief

The Quality Inspector is responsible for following production, safety, and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Verifies product configuration and identification.
  • Creates weld procedures that meet code & customer requirements.
  • Trains welding personnel.
  • Inspects and documents non compliances through Non Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Perform Mill Test Reports (MTR) verification.
  • Performs incoming inspections using CMM tools, calipers, OD/ID mics and/or similar equipment.
  • Performs calibration and verification.
  • Performs non-destructive examination for magnetic particle testing.
  • Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced
  • Accept or reject finished items
  • Remove and tag all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
  • Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products
  • Report inspection and test data to the assembly, production and direct supervisors

Requirements

  • Certified Welding Inspector
  • Level II Non-Destructive Testing certificate.
  • Magnetic Particle Testing is a plus.
  • Strong math background.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of hydraulics is a plus.
  • Five years experience
