Aero-Engine (i.e. Gas Turbine / Turbomachinery Indsutry Experience
Quality Management System and Continuous Improvement (Development). (Six sigma)
Experience across the Product Life Cycle coupled with an array of industry recognized quality tools (skills) (gas turbine preferred)
Root Cause - Corrective Action evaluations including using tools such as 8D/DMAIC/Red X.
Familiarity with AS9100, AS13100, AS9145, AS9110, AS6081, ISO 9001, FAA/FARs, DCMA/DoD
Part & Process Qualification processes such as PPAP / MRL, FAIR
Roles & Responsibilities
Gather, compile, process, and portray Quality Engineering (technical) data that helps ensure part/process quality are achieved and sustained. This is a support level hourly role whose output typically facilitates the work of others at the next level.
Comfortable interacting w/ multiple computer systems / software in a plant/office environment.
Have an aptitude for process-oriented work along with a mindset for doing things right, a desire to see things through, an eye for continuous improvement. A history of doing so successfully in a customer facing and service-minded engagement.
Collaboratively interact daily with your Project / Team leader, Peers
Maintain Integrity & Ethics in all situations
Generate Continuous Improvement ideas to reduce Waste and Cost of Poor Quality

Required Skills (Technical Competency) / Attributes
Relevant experience in: Quality Management System, Part Qualification, Non-Conformance Management, and/or Continuous Improvement (Development).
Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook – intermediate user (macros, pivot tables, VB coding - noteworthy)
Entering, probing, and extracting technical data within a MRP / ERP system (SAP preferred)
Self-motivated, disciplined, and organized - with ability to focus on semi-repetitive tasks
Desired Skills / Attributes
Familiarity with gas turbine engine workings, design, manufacturing, MRO
Operating in procedure based and regulatory controlled environments
Able to read Engineering prints w/GD&T and comprehend associated Quality Requirements
Gaging experience (manual, visual, computer based, Inspection Planning, SPC, Gage R&R, etc)
