Quality Engineer

We are leading metal service center that have been safely supplying quality business solutions to our customers in high-demand metal industries. We are sell and distribute a wide variety of coated sheet, stainless steel, aluminum sheet, and tin plate products.

Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assuring quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process. You will identify processes that need improvement and develop solutions to ensure the product meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality assurance processes for all stages of production.
• Ensure that all products meet ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality standards.
• Develop and execute plans to investigate customer complaints.
• Review and approve design changes and process changes.
• Analyze product data and use statistical methods to identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct regular internal and external audits to ensure quality standards are met.
• Investigate and troubleshoot quality issues with suppliers and customers.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing, ideally steel
• Formal lean training
• Proficiency with statistical process control (SPC) tools.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
