Responsibilities include:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the procurement process, ensuring the best price to the highest quality standards at acceptable lead times.
Manage procurement documents for compliance with policies, guidelines, and laws, utilizing contracts, best practices, spend analysis, and supplier management techniques.
Monitor and manage inventory and supplier relationships, proactively responding to prevent business disruptions.
Purchase challenging, sometimes unique or obsolescent parts, collaborating with other department managers for specification refinement.
Collaborate with the Strategic Procurement Manager in developing procedures, controls, and department strategic initiatives.
Travel up to 25%.
What you need to succeed:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Materials, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
4+ years of Supply Chain experience.
4+ years Team Lead/Supervisory experience.
Leadership in a purchasing role.
Process improvement mindset – implementing changes within ERP (D365).
Experience with tens of thousands of SKUs, especially in an aftermarket environment.
