salary: $49,500 - $61,500 per year

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with company objectives.
• Oversee the procurement of materials, supplies, and equipment necessary for operations.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to achieve favorable terms and conditions.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with inventory control to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvements as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.
• Supervise and mentor purchasing team members, providing guidance and training as necessary.
• Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements.
